The Granitos Lamecense Ltd was founded in April 1999 and began working in June 2000, the main promoter of the company - Belarmino Fonseca - from very young he worked in the stone sector.

Emigrated in Switzerland, worked in granite quarrying and processing of gaining experience and making contacts.

Early on it was acquired a line of sawing stone, a bridge crane, a transport vehicle and the facilities that remain today. At this stage, the company was producing granite slabs converted to national and international markets.

With the growing pace of construction on the international market, the company increased its stock of machines and personnel structure, to achieve meet demand.

Since then, the company has remained at the market selling for several national and international clients awarding various public works for rehabilitation of urban centers, a bit by all five continents.
